All right welcome back episode 83 The Trilateral Podcast. How's it going guys? How's it going? Rocking in the Rollin. Alrighty. Chris you said we had some F1 testing and we had some finishes or something. Yeah last time we recorded the testing of still going on in Barcelona for the preseason testing. Day 5 concluded. A lot of good laps in for the majority of teams. Obviously some teams still didn't participate. But interesting how the week shaped out and who ended up kind of being fastest on the track out there. It gives some fans a little bit of a hope Hamilton topped the fastest time. The 116.348. Damn. Followed by Russell and Lando. And then Charles and Kimmy rounded out your top five. So nobody knew. Not every team was going for speed and stuff some worked on other things but still it's just kind of a good indicator of their tracking that fast. That's that's a pretty good time for that track. So it will be in our seat to see what motivation that can carry into motivation and progress carrying into the next set of tests here next week. So not really a lot of reliability issues so far which is good. I think maybe some expected there might be a few more so a lot of good laps in. Granted those reliability things could be a little more track specific but we'll see as time goes on. But yeah it was nice to see Hamilton up there on time tables. Yeah he's number one that's cool. Yeah next week the rest of the testing gets underway. It will be in Bahrain. Bahrain. So they'll do two weeks of testing and then the first race is March 8th. Australia. Really? So. One of quick. Yeah. Yes it is. I'm looking forward to it. That's about it for F1 right now. All right, cool. What's going on in the college world anything special? Other than college basketball just doing great Michigan go blue home be Michigan State what a game. I think the biggest college football in the lose. I've seen is Indiana quarterback coach left after one season and now it was down at Tampa Bay. Took the coaching head card took the quarterback coaching job down there. So Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay with Baker with Baker. Cool. Yo dude. So not a bad move I don't think. I think with no obviously Indiana losing a lot of guys and I haven't been does either and neither is brother either. It's going to be a whole change who's going to be their quarterback there. So I've got you see me somehow, some way post somebody. Yeah, someone else as the word works. Yeah. Yeah. Somebody on there you know six year in college. Honestly I really haven't heard too much from the transfer portal. So that's official. Yeah, it's been pretty quiet actually. Obviously there were some okay names and people stayed for the draft. So there's a lot. I think there's still one or two people trying to get their six year of eligibility. I know that one quarterback from Tennessee just Aguilar is fighting now suing the NCAA trying to get his six year eligibility. He's what was he to die? I think he was denying he's suing them right now to redo it. Oh I know what's the case. What's the noise? Yeah, the one from San Bus. San Bus, yeah. I think Aguilar will probably also be denied personally probably. So I don't know. I get it. They're trying to stay and make more money if they're in IEL deals but well they're not going to get drafted. All shambles will. He was literally a national champion in D2 and then he also was like that far in D1. Yeah, but I wouldn't need your Aguilar. He might be drafted for it, but he's not going to get drafted. Yeah, the grounds. Well, yeah, that's pretty much the only big news I heard out at college. No major coaching switches or anything like that. So, all right. All right. What's going on with the builds? What's going on with the Steelers? You said there's some coaching positions being filled. Yeah, bills are telling out there coaching ranks pretty quickly. So we grabbed, oh man. Whoa, we had a lot of vacancies that we needed to fill after everything. No, I did pretty much a fill in a fill in them all. Oh, cool. A couple left. We had a one retirement. A few left. Some other in what other places. Yeah. Yeah, we got Jim Leon Harre, Leonhard, offensive coordinator, or defensive coordinator. We picked Pete Carmichael, which was obviously longtime Saint's OC when Peyton and Breeze was down there. That's pretty cool. Special teams coordinator Jeff Rogers. Where people are speculating where our defensive scheme will change due to the defensive coordinator we have now. Well, is it going to have to change to the person that we're going to have to or what? They're going to try, I think most will be able to simulate to it, but you know, Brady said whatever changes they really want to hopefully keep as much as the personnel they have to fit whatever may change. So but I could see some personnel not being needed or we may need other personnel to kind of fit that, but got you. Yeah, so Carmichael is that Broncos prior. Yeah. And then that Jim Leon Harre, Leonhard was from he was from number two, wasn't he? I'm not sure. I don't know if he did. Yeah. Yeah, Leonhard is the second Broncos assistant to join Brady staff after Pete Carmichael was hired as a buff of those. So yeah, we sculpt a few from the Broncos. Some of these coaches have been with the bills in the past. Actually, I think one of them used to be a bills player too. So definitely looks like they're moving to shake and assemble a solid coaching stuff. So we got some good people in good places right now. So good. And then I know we picked up another QB coach to go hard degree, hard degree. He was with the Tennessee Titan as a QB coach. And then I thought we picked up someone from Minnesota college. So PJ Blake. He rode a buff little bills. Road bills. Road buff. Yeah, outside linebacker Bobby April, the third inside linebacker John Egorov, cornerbacks coach Jay Valley, and offensive line coach Pat Mayor. Road buff. We retained the running backs tight-enge offensive quality control, offensive assistant offensive line and passing game specialists. So 19 new coaches. That's great. You work. The huge, huge shift in a more aggressive defensive scheme. So that'd be huge for us. Hold on and see what that brings to the table. Fuck, man. Hopefully. Pick up a bucket. We can ride out now. Dealers hired signeties, brother for one of their coaching positions. Yeah, he's the new senior offensive assistant. So yeah, Pittsburgh went through and hired one, two, three, four, five, six, six new coaching positions. So they got a new assistant head coach/secondary coach, which Joe Whit is came from the commanders recently, but also as experienced with the Packers, Browns, Falcons, and Cowboys. Danny Crossman's new special teams coordinator. He has experienced with all five bills and lines. Then a new defense line coach is Demada Pico. He was a 15-year NFL veteran. Demada Pico. That was a different Cincinnati. Yeah. Was he a Cincinnati? Was there a Cincinnati or was he at? I don't know. I think he was at Cincinnati. Yeah, Pico. He was recently retired. I know that. I think he's recently retired. Yeah, I sure. And then Sean, how often there's the outside linebacker and head coach, he comes from Montana State University as the D-Muts coordinator. That D-2? Montana State is probably D-2, I'm guessing, the X. I'm pretty sure they're up there with that. Then Pat Riley. Yeah, he was a Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle from '06 to '2016. Okay. Okay, so you've been trying to-- It was a big dude. He was a big dude. He was out there. He was the deepest line, man. Yeah. Then we got Pat Riley with the defense quality control coach who was the offense assistant with the Houston text in this last. So, yeah, they got six new. And then obviously Brian Angelico, I can't pronounce that last name, but he was the he's the new offense coordinator we got from formerly from the Minnesota Vikings. And he has also 10 years of experience with time with Breene Bay as well. So, yeah, pretty much a whole new coaching staff. Yeah, it's for both of our teams, bro. So, I don't know if we filled all ours either yet, because I think we're still looking for our actual defense coordinator, because I think we got-- we did not bring back the other actual defense coordinator for us last I heard. So, is Arthur going to call the offense? Who? Arthur. Um, what part are they going to call the offense? Oh, what part are they definitely going to call the offense? Yeah. Definitely. I don't think Brian's going to be calling the offense at all. Yeah. Um, that's it for Pittsburgh. There were some-- I would say other hires around the league. Well, head coaching-wise, the other ones I don't think we touched on was Michael Fuer. Yeah, Matt LaFuer's brother. We have two sets of brothers coaching the NFL now. Um, pretty cool. Wow, Raiders have great-- Yeah, great deal with Clayton. Yeah, great deal with Clayton. Yeah, great deal with Clayton. So, who's the Seattle's, who's Seattle's offense coordinator? Um, I'll be interested to see what he gets offered. Yeah, so. So, then assistant coach wise, we got the Giants has reached an agreement with Matt Nagy. So, who Nagy is leaving the chiefs going to the Giants? Wow. It's kind of wild there. So, I don't know if I would have made that call, but maybe he didn't have a choice. So, maybe the chiefs are going to bring him back. Um, what is he? offense coordinator. Don't be there with Harball. And then, yeah, it's the only bigger ones I'm seeing that, okay, yeah, well, so, nothing else too really crazy, so. But it's still, I think there's still some position where we filled up, so, yeah. Then what, free agency starts in a few weeks, I'm pretty sure. Yeah, dude, I see some pretty gnarly trades. Well, you see some, I see a lot of Bay Freagians out there. I mean, who's the biggest free agent? I mean, I would personally say, for Osby, I thought they were, I don't know if he was going to be a free agent, I thought they, well, they technically I'm pretty sure he's still a franchise tagging. Yeah, March 11th is official Saturday. March 11th? Yeah. Yeah. So right now, they're saying the big ones is number one, they have as trade Hendrixson defensive end from Sincy. Oh, yeah, a big one. He's a big one. He is going to be 31 years old starting the season. So then he got Tyler Lyndon Balm, young center, who's the Raven Center? Yep. He's going to be a big one. Uh, Danny Dimes, still going to be a free agent. I think the cold to be stupid if they don't resign him. Yeah, I'd love to resign him. So, um, George Pickens, he'll be back to start season, right? Danny Dimes, I think he's going to be out for a few weeks after. So he'll be back to start the season. I doubt they're going to run out of the building, come back to that fast. Definitely not going back for the preseason. I'll be surprised if he starts the season. That's the only reason I can see them possibly not. George Pickens, that's going to be a big one. I see a lot of people thinking he might go to New England to pair up with digs because then it's going to have a huge salary cap open up. They're going to have a lot of cash base. So they could give him more money than Dallas. Um, Braden Smith, another offense tackle for the Colts. He'll probably resign him on guessing Breese Hall is a big one. Really? Well, so he's going to be only 25. Do you think the, no, it sounds like they're not going to. Well, so. But he's going to be 25. Alec Pierce, which I don't see him leaving the Colts. He did way too good this year for them to leave. Travis Jones, detaigre for the Ravens, Isaiah likely. Tyrant for the Ravens. I don't really see them getting rid of him, but, he's like him in the Marr, always very good. The new Mike Evans for Tampa Bay. Mike Evans is always hurt. So I don't see him leaving. Honestly, I think he's going to stay a Tampa Bay. I mean, I could see him retire. I just say see him staying with fucking years. Um, you got Kueh Walker from Green Day. Linebacker, um, smaller offensive tackle. It's Gleel Mac. Really? He's going to be 35 to start the season. Who's, so I could see him just staying at the Chargers too. I mean, he was one of their best linemen still. Travis ETN, the Jags. I don't see him staying there. I see him going to a different team. Maybe if he gets someone, I think he's going to go. I keep seeing Alec will seem going to Carolina. And him and his brother are going to be on the same team. That is pretty cool. Him and his brother and, uh, Chubbahob, because they're probably not going to resign Rico Dottal. They're pretty good running back to Romeo Dobbs from Green Bay. I don't see him leaving. And I think he's too good for them to get rid of. Kyle Pets, that's a big one. Hey, I'm really. Yeah. That's a big one. A bunch of daily signs. They should after the season. He just had. He's had a lot of rough season. He's still in 25 years old. 22 years. He's in four, four years. Yeah, he's very good. So, um, let's see. Greg Newsome, the second corner from Jags. Yeah, that's pretty much the other big one. Some smaller safety's Quentin Lake, Devin Lloyd. But, yeah, the ones I mentioned were probably the biggest ones. Obviously those first, I would say top six. I mean, Breast Hall is an interesting seat because I know the Chief is really trying to get him. Um, George Pickens will be an interesting seat where he goes. Danny Dimes, obviously. I said he's only, Danny Dimes still only 29 years old and he starts the season. So, I could see them just keeping them. I see the Ravens keeping Linder bomb too. And then Trey Hendrickson, I definitely not going to be a Bangalore. He's definitely going to go somewhere else. So, I know what team could be able to forward in season one of big contract. So, this past year he made 29 million in one year. So, I'm going to get a big contract somewhere. Maybe we'll see. Do you guys have anything else to touch on that felt place? No, the probals this weekend, the Denbiler watching on Buddha, nothing really. I think there's another game coming up, but I don't remember what it's called or what it is. I think I remember what it's called and what it is. The Masters that is starting. They're seeing all these Masters that are starting April. I keep seeing all the matchups abroad. There's got to be 12 games abroad this season already coming up. Really? Yeah, there's going to Mexico, South America, Australia, France, Spain, Germany, Ireland, Germany, Ireland, England. I wonder if you're going to do Australia. Yeah, they're going to do it one in Australia. I can't remember the teams, but I think it was two West Coast teams. In the sense. Probably both L.A. teams or That's what I think it might have been. You can see the Argystiae like maybe Seattle, the L.A. team. Yeah. 49ers and Rams. That's cool. And the Melbourne. We'll see how those go. We're not the players. That would be that would be real shitty if like I don't see that whenever being, but someone from the West Coast because I think that'd be horrible for an East Coast team. Yeah, I was a travel all over that way. Yeah. Oh my gosh, that would be horrible. Look at that. Yeah, but no, I think that's all I got. Cool, cool, cool. Alrighty. What was episode? What 83? 83 lateral podcasts. Those is. Thanks for listening. Thanks for listening. Way to.
