All right welcome back, The Trilateral Podcast episode 73. How's it going? Yeah, how's it going? It's going, living the dream. Living the dream. All right. We had something pretty interesting happening in F1. And it happened to all places in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pretty nuts. City of dreams. City of dreams and some dreams are coming true. Not for the boys at Orange County. Now, you watch the end of the race and didn't really pay attention anything after that. You went to bed and it was Max Slandonora, such a podium. But in all honesty, actually your podium was Max Russell and Kimmy. Both McLean's were de-cued. We knew something was up the last few laps because Lando was, he was within five, four or five seconds at one point with Max. And by the time that race ended, he was almost, he was 20 some seconds behind and another lap and some change and also what a past him. He was never since something. We knew that speculation was fuel. So he was told to lift and coast. But after the race, it was later discovered that both of their skid plates had excessive wear. So both of them were de-cued. That jumbled up. Your place is quite a bit. It just because they hate us. It seems so fishy, dude. Maybe you guys just had your car's lower or something and you guys were trying to, let's drag or something. I don't know. Or it's rigged and Rebels is paying them some money to lose on. They did have them set a certain way. So it's less drag. But in that way, it was, it was just hitting, it was more ground contact and they were excessively wore it. You know, they fucked up. There was, I think it was in Mexico or Brazil. It was found that a lot of teams were heating the skid plates. To adjust them differently. FIA put a stop to that. They said that was not correct. And if anyone found doing it, it would be severe punishment. Not correctly. Just like. So. Integrated. But yeah, really. Overall, the race was fine. Landle really screwed the poach the first corner. He went in way too hot to try to cut off Max and ended up taking it wide and lost two places within the first turn. Outside of that, there was a few cautions. Overall, three cars didn't finish. And then both McClarans dequeued. 13 of the finishing. Well, actually, it would have been. Only two cars were not in the leading lap when the race finished. Max pretty much led the entire thing at that point. Mercedes looked strong. I think Fri, especially, Claire looked real good, but just couldn't. Pull enough off. Lewis started at the back again. Finish date after the DQs. He looked strong, but then tire change and that compound just didn't work as well for him pace was. So. For the most part of her, it was so so race. Nothing too crazy. Like that track. I could read. That tracks, though, but. I don't see it being a long standing course. Racers do not care for it. Which kind of sucks because it's a street course and usually those are, you know, pretty enjoyable. But. Yeah, it's not high on anyone's list, but any means. Gotcha. After the results of that race, we got two more races ahead of us. Current standing for the driver championship. Max and Oscar are tied at 366. And then landows leading at 390. So it's honestly. Anyone's game there in that top three. Yeah, those really taking. Yeah, if we see another result like this, then. You know, Max is going to swoop it up pretty easily. Yeah, see that happen. And as far as the. Constructors most likely it's going to be McClearem or Sadie's and Red Bull. And let's fry. He can really pop off these next two races, but. I don't really see that changing much. But. Yeah, we got guitar this weekend and then right after that, we got Abu Dhabi for the final round. Very nice. So. I think that covers up for them moment. Move it into college football. Pretty good games. We can start with the ass whipping Notre Dame put on Syracuse. That was insane within the first five minutes. There's 21 to zero with no offensive stats. So. Pretty crazy with two pick sixes and then I'm blockpot for touch now. So. It's pretty insane. Yeah. But the time yeah, by the time I turned on the game, yeah, I was already five minutes in and it was 21 zip. Like, whoa. And yeah, first time Notre Dame is scored 70 points and sometime in the 30s was either 32 or 34 was the last time they scored. Drop to 70 bomb. And then that was the worst blowout in Syracuse history. It's the worst loss they've ever had. So. That was not good for them. So. I think they had under three or four quarterbacks play that game. Syracuse did. But they're really. Yeah. I didn't realize how close it was between Notre Dame's starter and their backup that backup is good. He's quick as hell. So the Notre Dame's back quarterback. I guess it was pretty the according to the non-series, they said it was a close battle according to Freeman who he was going to start this year. But that backup quarterback was good. He could run the ball to these ago speed threat. I like what right. The winner was last year on his feet. He wasn't a passing quarterback like CJ Cardiff. I like CJ CJ CJ is good. I'm happy they went with them. So. But they're looking good. It's kind of surprised they didn't move up any more in the rankings. Looks like they stayed at nine. But. I think as long as they stayed in the top 10. We should be fine. They went out. I feel like they should make the playoffs. A lot of that was actually listening to a lot of the announcers and they were saying that. It's all the other teams. The two team to lost team stay in there too. They're thinking their day might not make it. We should be crazy in my books. So. Did you look at every lost today? They did see I did see a picture today that it showed it was like Notre Dame was. Not and they were in the talking like they have an opportunity still to do it, but they were still. I get the one but it was barely lost because it got really close. But then what's it called then they lose to who's the other team Texas and them in Texas and them is the top what. Yeah, we're still some things that will need to happen. And then you get the conference championships and the conference championship can mix a few things up. It's that'd be awesome. You know, I'm glad to see some teams lose this week. Get over with some. But yeah. I don't know. Any other big games that you guys saw for college this week? Or watch. I wasn't know like it was like kind of an off week for like a lot of teams like SEC teams. I feel like we're gonna saw a lot of like wild matchups like kind of like Florida decided not show up on that home this week. Even though they're playing a good team. I thought they're in a show maybe a beat Tennessee, but then Tennessee to said no, no, no. So I did watch a good portion of the Colorado era is on a state game and honestly I thought Colorado was gonna stick with them, but they ended up letting them just take it away. Now Oregon USC game was really good to until the last bit. So USC kept it close. Utah and Kansas. The game was very good. That was only a four point game to the end. You could beat Houston. Man, Georgia Tech losing in their ASP to Pittsburgh. That was. Yeah, they that was real. At home too. That was rough. So. And then Wisconsin just coming out of nowhere and beating ranked Illinois for two two win team Wisconsin. So that was huge for them. But yeah, I didn't that. Not too many crazy games, but this week though we're gonna have some really good games. Some really good games. I got some important games. Yep. Ranked wise, we got Georgia Georgia Tech. That's always good game, even though I think Georgia should roll over them now. Texas A&M at Texas. That could be a really good game. It's in Texas too. So if Texas shows up, that could be good. Indiana Purdue. Indiana should. That one easy. Arizona Arizona State. That's a good rivalry game. Yep. Really good one Ohio State at Michigan. The game. Not even called it's not even you don't even say their names. It's called the game. Yeah. So. We're not see if we can do it five years in a row. This is the upset I want to see happen Miami is at Pittsburgh and I would love to see Pittsburgh beat Miami. Well, after what they did Georgia Tech. So it's in Pittsburgh. I would love to see Miami is there. Because that would lock Notre Dame pretty much into the college world class Miami lost this week. It's a good rivalry game. Texas Tech West Virginia. That should be a blow out. Oregon at Washington. That should be a pretty good game. So it's a good one. Rivalry one Oregon. What needs to win that one to get into the try to get into the big 10 championship. So. It's going to be tough to with Ohio State Indiana. So. I wish you a local home. That should be a blow out Vanderbilt at Tennessee. That's a good rivalry game right there. Both in Tennessee. Yeah. It's in Tennessee this year because last time they were in Tennessee. I should ask when Vanderbilt deal was another one Vanderbilt beat them was in Tennessee last time. So. I don't know who won or what, but I know that both the field go both got taken.
