All righty episode 71 Trilateral podcast how's it going brothers? How's it going? It's going. All right. We have F1 race to talk about college football to talk about NFL to talk about same old, same old, you know, the good topics. go ahead with F1, Chris. Um, so we had the, uh, Brazilian grand prix this past weekend. Um, I wish I was in Brazil. They got full qualifying. Can't see. The, uh, uh, as first time in a hot minute, but Max didn't make it out of Q, um, out of the first qualifying session. Oh, he actually crashed out. So he didn't get to qualify. Um, he ended up starting from the pit lane because they ended up doing some engine adjustments and stuff and settle up. So he started the backup pack. I'll end up took, um, pull. Of course, and then Kimi and then Charles were you top three from pole position. Nice. Nice. This, there was a sprint race this weekend. Um, I think, I think Lando took that also. Yeah. Yeah. No, Kimi and George were three in the sprint race. But onto the main event. Lando started from pole position. Kim, um, Kimi and then Charles started the race was pretty good. Um, Hamilton lost some position. He started a little further back. He didn't have a greatest qualifying. Um, I think it was about five laps in. Um, Gabriel Bortoletto, the home. That was his home race. Um, he actually crashed out pretty bad in qualifying real bad. Um, first few laps ended up in the wall again. Um, so he ended his race real quick. Um, brought out a caution. Safety car. Um, amongst that same lap. Hamilton collided with the science. Toroff is front wing and it wedged underneath the vehicle. So it damaged the underbelly pretty good. He continued on for a while, but ultimately ended up retiring. Um, after the race. Restart of that first safety. Uh, nothing of his doing. He was racing, but two others headed to a Piaztery, um, and Kimi touched tires and it kind of bumped Kimi off the race line right into a Claire, which ended up busing. Um, took his front tire off and busted the suspension up. So he was done. Wow. So both Ferrari's were out pretty much after that was a pretty clean race. Um, obviously max, uh, just boom, boom, boom, boom. He was leading for a moment, but after pit stops were over. Landle took that back over pretty fun, pretty good. Um, but, uh, he fought back pretty good. That your podium ended up being Norris, Kimi and Max, um, Georgia after that and Piaztery rounds out your top five. Um, so Norris takes the lead in the champ world championship, um, then Piaztery and then Max is right there. So statistically, one of those three could be your world champion. Wow. Uh, it's pretty tight. Yeah, it is. A lot tighter than it looked like earlier in the season, like it was going to be. Um, all the cars that did finish out of the 17 were on the leading lap, which is nice to see. Um, team wise. Obviously that hurt Ferrari quite a bit. So I'm a clarinet, and obviously on top Mercedes jumped up to second. Red Bull is in third now with Ferrari right behind them. And then your driver championship, uh, land, Indos leading with 390 points. Piaztery is second with 366. And then Max is there at 341. Norris is looking pretty strong, but um, we'll see if we got. Oh, four more races. That's three more races, three more races. Vegas, Qatar and then Abu Dhabi. Yeah. So I think of Norris wins the next one. And as long as he doesn't finish outside the top three, I think he's probably got it. Because he's got about a race ahead now. Yeah, race ahead points was in some change ahead of Piaztery. So, but if he were to DNF or something, obviously it could change pretty quick. Well, things go the way they went last race. It sounds like that's the route. Things are going to go these last couple of races. Yeah. You know, Mercedes has been usually pretty strong at Vegas, but we'll see. We'll see. Hopefully Ferrari has a better outing next to you, but they can't. I'm sure LeClair would have been on the podium if he wouldn't have. He probably would have even a challenge, Norris, because he was coming on strong, but um, yeah, it was just bad. It was just timing. Nothing at his part really to avoid it. So just the way the cookie crumbles. So just the way the cookies. I think that covers I for the time being not much else to report in that field. Cool, cool, cool. Already college football last week, the week of what ifs, man? So many games that I thought were going to be upset and teams just couldn't pull it off. We saw it in the Oregon and Iowa game. And then we also saw it in the Penn State Indiana game. Penn State had that in the books. Well, it was crazy. Yeah, it had it done, but that dude just made the catch of the year for Indiana, fortunately, so. I like that, I like that lead off with the week 11, the week of what ifs. So literally what is what if Penn State would have won? What if Iowa would have won? Fuck it. What if Purdue? What a one? Nope. That would have never happened. But it's. Yeah, those two games were close. Really good games, but didn't go the way I thought they should have won at the end there, but then we got Texas Tech going in and just winning good at home killing BYU. So surprise BYU is still at number 12 after that big of a loss. Yeah, surprise BYU is still ranked after that big of a lot. Texas A&M taking care of Missouri, Missouri no longer ranked, which is pretty crazy. That sucks. Vanderbilt, that was a good game and overtime to come back and beat Auburn. That was a big rough game for them. Virginia lost, so week forest at home, still ranked, but that was crazy losing the week forest. Notre Dame took care of business back in the top 10, number nine. It's huge. Hopefully with some more upsets, they should keep rising. And then Alabama closer to that thought was going to be a still S U. Honestly, only what 11 points so but LSU bench their starter quarterback, which was kind crazy, but I just got to be rebuilding anyways. So he was going to be a good draft big. Yeah, he was supposed to use one of the top five of Heisman runners, I think he's seen started. Well, he was top five prediction. So all the top five that were predicted to win the Heisman this year are all not doing great. Him sellers, who's the other one? Can't think of it. Oh, Aller from Penn State. He's out for the season. Like they just have a lot of people that are not paying out, obviously, the injuries. Just not doing good. But Aller's out. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he's a few weeks. But yeah, that pretty much wraps up last week. Like I said, it would have been cool to see at least one of those upsets happen. Unfortunately, didn't get to see either one. But yeah, I would have been interested to see what would happen if Indiana lost to Penn State. I'm sure they would have stayed at top 10 team, obviously, but it's been rough for them. So into three and four Penn State or three and five Penn State, whatever they were. Now it would have been really good for that Penn State in term coach's job. He could have maybe got a job out of that. So a little bit in the first time since what 2018 or 2016? Top 10 team. Top five teams. Top five teams. Top five team, yeah. So that would have been crazy for them without they're starting quarterbacking without Franklin. That would have been crazy. Yeah. But moving on to this week, this week, not too many exciting games. I mean, we got Notre Dame, traveling to Pittsburgh. That's a ring, two ring teams. It should be a good one. We got Oklahoma. That's actually that'll be a good one. That's actually college game day also. Yeah, I saw they were going to Pittsburgh. It's pretty cool. I don't pat McAfee at his hometown. So he was talking a lot about it. So that would be pretty cool, but hopefully Notre Dame takes care of business. That would have been a cool game to go to being at at Steeler Stadium. So I could shy. But yeah, Oklahoma and Bama. That should be a good game number 11 first number four. That's going to be pretty, pretty good. Hopefully Bama can lose. And then we got Florida and Ole Miss. Again, Florida getting their ass beat by Kentucky last week. Yeah, after beating a ranked team losing to an unranked team the next week. They just... Oh, they'll probably show up this week, then. They want to play football this week, maybe. Yeah, they just can't make the fuck of the month. But yeah, they're playing at number 16 in the country Ole Miss at Ole Miss. They're going to walk in there and just pop beat. I think I'm going to put... I put money on my own. A lot of money on Florida to win this week. Yeah. That's just what they do. Guys, that's the algorithm right now. I don't bet against it. Yeah, we're going to be pissed at ourselves when we don't put money on it. Oh, I'm putting money on Florida this week. I'm sure Florida is going to be big on that. Everybody listen to 10 points or they're going to be... At least put money on the spread. They're going to keep it close. So Florida is going to win. Take the money line. They're like huge fate of dogs right now. Yeah, so 15 and a half point dogs plus 550 money line. I'm smashing that money line. Yeah, I would put... Four gators. Who in another big game, we got Texas. We actually worked our way back up to the top 10 and their 10th place again. Wow. Do that sort of guy. Everything's going to hit on that bet besides Penn State, bro. Yeah. And then... And then... Oh, bad after we too. And then Texas is at Georgia this week. That would be a good game. I'd love to see Texas beat him, but I don't... At Georgia played so good against Mississippi State last week. I don't see Georgia losing at home. Unfortunately, I'd love to see Texas beat him. But Texas struggles against Frank Teams, so... Texas has got to win, bro. Well, yeah, they got to win this game. This is a must win game for them, but... That would also put Georgia at two losses as well, if they were... Hey, so what I'm saying is perfect. This is going to be... This is probably a game of the week, personally, in my opinion, it would probably be Texas at Georgia. Plus, it's a 730 game in Georgia. That's going to be a good game. Electric. Yeah. So... But that pretty much wraps up college football this week. When we do have some other late games, we got T-C-W-W-Y-U, kind of boring. We got UCLA at Ohio State. It would be awesome to see UCLA up, so it'll Ohio State, but... Yeah, it should ain't going to happen, bro. It's in Ohio State, too, so it's definitely not going to happen any. Ohio State is probably going to beat him by 40, unfortunately. But, yeah, I think that wraps up college football for this week. And this week coming up should be pretty good, but we got NFL for this past week to talk about. Oh, hey, if you guys didn't know, did you guys know this? The Buffalo Bills? They suck. Yeah, just as you guys know. Don't want to get you thinking... I'm going to talk to the league. I gave it just bad. We just got to end the episode, Dick. Well, we started Thursday night out with the fucking snooze best. The Broncos barely beat him. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. The seven to seven and a half times, and they scored a total of three fucking points, the whole second half. So Broncos won, pull it out of their ass again, but they didn't even show up in the second half this week, so... Woo! That was a boring guy. Colts at Falcons, really good game, actually. OT overseas. It's pretty cool. Actually, that was a good one, yeah. Daniel Jones, Danny Died. And then, man, was bleeding out there in the field. There was a picture of a screenshot of him and he's like, "Fucking mouth was bleeding." Oh, yeah. So... Good game. Saints showing up, winning a good old 17 to 7, classic NFC South. Fucking... Shoot out. You know, that's real disappointing. But the Carolina Panthers had to suck that bad. Yeah, a quarterback. For I saw, yeah, a rookie quarterback had like 200 passing yards, about half time. I don't know what he had in the game, but... Way to put it on the fucking Panthers, bro. The fucking... Half the football worse team in the end. Patriots and bucks for a good game. Too bad big or kind of pull it out, but it's hard to do. And half your fucking team's injured. But... Yeah, bro. They don't got a shot right now. So... Ravens and Vikings, that one started a little... I thought Vikings were on a run away with that one, but... Raking Ravens came back. And then... Bears and Giants was a good game. I thought Giants had that one also locked down. And then Bears came back and then boom, by David. How old is David? Go back. Brian David will go on. So... It's kind of a wild move on their part. I think that was a little... Interesting. I think there's a lot of other coaches that should have been fired, but... Yeah, it seemed a little premature. Jackson's Jags, another good game. David Mills leading them to victory. Yeah, so... Fuck, didn't he throw for like a fuck ton of yards? I think he also threw like three picks, two or two picks. So... I think it was crazy money yards, too, for... So, yeah, David Mills, yeah, that was a good game. Seahawks destroyed the Cardinals. Seahawks look good. I love his Seahawks, right now. So Lions, I obviously took care of business against the hurt commanders. So, Mr. Donald Trump was on broadcast for that one. Actually in the broadcast booth, I thought that game wasn't too straight. I was... Yeah, so... Rams took care of business. Steelers also suck. So... Yeah, I fucking slept that whole game. Yeah, you didn't miss anything besides them. At one point when I saw the score was five to three, I'm like, "Yeah, it's how you're doing in these blockades." I was up and saw the Steelers scored three points. Yeah. That was pretty much what we scored seven more points only after that. So, you didn't miss anything from us. Well... I actually scored it. You got to take it as much as I... I was 10 to 25, was the final score. Yeah. I still got our ASP. Oh, shit. So... I felt to ask. And then last night... Yes, night. I know there's about kids snooze fest. This was a week of snooze fest on prime time. Holy shit. So... Eagles and Packard, man, that was boring game. The what? So... I thought they were on a by-week this week. No. Didn't hear nothing about them. Taggy Monday night game. I didn't hear anybody about it either. Nothing happened, really. But... I know. It wasn't really much to... Yeah. Eagles pulled it out, so... I figured that would happen. I just thought they would have blown them out, but... Whatever. It's one of those weeks where it's... Any team for themselves, besides the few that were blowouts, but anyways, moving on from that shit week of a week... You guys want to get in those something? The Kansas City Chiefs, if the playoffs were to happen right now, the Kansas City Chiefs would not make the playoffs. But... They're not fucking making it this year, man. No, listen. Listen. We got the Jets traveling to New England, giving New England. New England. Pretty easy Thursday game, so... That's an easy one compared to the rest of the schedule. Yep. Well, is it? Yeah. Give me New England. Yeah. Sweet. X. We got Washington traveling to Miami. Washington's Bums. They're hurt, giving Miami. Do it, of course. I'm for it, for me. Miami. Yeah, give me Miami. Sweet. Next, you got Carolina. Carolina. Give me Atlanta. Atlanta. Give me Atlanta. So far. Good. Next game. Good game, Tampa at Buffalo. We got the injury bowl. Yeah, it's definitely happening. It's gonna be a good little battle, though, Baker and Josh. But I think it's gonna be close, but I think Buffalo pulls it out of their ass last seconds. We're gonna be Buffalo. Yeah, give me Minnesota. Sweet. Next, we got Green Bay traveling to the Giants. We got a coach. Give me Green Bay Giants without a coach. Dangerous. Yeah, sure. Then we agreed on everyone but one again. This is like the really rare for us to happen, but we've done it twice this year. No, but this is the second time. I expected a little. I expected a little more in this week, but. I mean, I think it's just because we're biased on some teams. Like, I mean, definitely the Kansas City one definitely a coin flip. The Chicago Minnesota one might be a coin flip, but I just also hate Chicago. So. But then yeah, I'm going to be a little bit more. So, but then yeah, I'm not rooting for Kansas City. I want to see them not make the playoffs for once. It'd be awesome. New. This. A little. I think if they could pull it off this would solidify. Be. You both. But. Yeah, well, we're out there going to do really good this week or are all going to do very bad this week. So. Quite you and Logan will do the exact same. So. But yeah, that wraps up. And a foul for this week. No big news besides the table one. That was the biggest news I heard. And then the Joey B news with the boss to be inactivated and coming back, which I think is way too early. They should give another two weeks, but they're getting to that point where they need to. At this point, they don't win another game without them. They're at the point where they just need to fucking mention the rest of the season. Get ready for next year. So.
