Episode 69 The Trilateral Podcast Hows it going? its going and if the other time in what all of the time is the end of those a call Let's talk about some racing. Let's talk about how bad a of these races are.- Yeah, but it's okay, because it's orange on top, but we'll get there.- Whatever dude. Yeah, this race was a shit showing up in the first lap. I know all that that went down, it takes the FIA over 15, 16 laps. The finally say, oh yeah, this one person's gonna get penalized while all that bullshit. They gotta figure that shit out. All the data they have at their fingertips and it takes them over 15 laps to say, oh, we're only gonna dish out one 10 second penalty and kind of a bullshit 10 second penalty to the one driver that honestly, I feel did the least, if anything, he avoided a crash while others were, didn't give a shit what happened if they did what they did. Yeah, that was, so Hamilton got a 10 second penalty. That kind of fucked his race, honestly. Otherwise, I think he would have been, right there at third or fourth.- Really?- Yeah.- Well, yeah.- Yeah, they, it just taken that long and generally go through that is really the problem, I feel. Penalty, no penalty, where it was given whatever it's a point but they didn't really affect anything, the grand scheme of things, but it's just, if anything, I think it sheds more light on the FAA, just not knowing what they're fucking doing. So, other than that, it really wasn't a crazy race for the most part. I think we had three DNF, four DNFs. Three of those were pretty early on. That fourth one ended up causing a virtual safety car and that's how the last lap and some change ended the race. Otherwise, LeClear might have been gobbled up by Matt X, but an Oscar probably could have got Ali, maybe, but overall, yeah. I think Lando's up to, he's got four point lead, I think, maybe.- That's it?- That's only a one point lead. That's a one point lead.- Not first, he maxed.- Max is not gonna run at the door. If McClellan doesn't keep it clean, he could easily take the championship. I just hope it doesn't turn into the usual team championship battles where they end up taking each other out and just screws them both.- Friari is leading third second in the team standings by one point. Very good red ball racing could still take second though and the sad thing is it's one driver with all these damn points.- Well, these points are looking to say.- Yeah, they might have a better chance of just going a single driver next year and saving the money in the second car.- Shane pocket.- Honestly, I think they could probably still wreak havoc but these good, man.- Yeah, that was, you know, it could have been pretty interesting. You know, I think as little as they dished out penalty wise, they probably could have just let that one go and they could have saved themselves in controversy. But nonetheless, other than that pretty clean race, I think all the cars that did finish, I believe they were, I want to say they were all in the leading lap. No, I'd take that book. 11 cars on the leading lap out of the little ones that finished. So, but overall sub parkour race, nothing crazy. Just tightening up the driver's championship by a lot. Looking ahead next race is Brazil. They have a week break and then it's Brazil. And then I believe it's a week break and then Vegas. Shall be pretty interesting. It'll be interesting to see what McLaren ends up doing, how tight it gets and what decisions they have to make as a team'cause they could easily let it slip out of their hands if they're not smart with their decisions. But I think, it covers us for a full and a week.- Well, all right. We'll move into college football. Was a pretty so and so week I would say. I don't think there was any major upsets, I don't think. So, all the ranked teams took care of business. Indiana really showed out only one by 50, but you know, it's okay.- They're good. They're looking pretty good. I don't know. So Ole Miss took care of business against Oklahoma. Vanderbilt did pull out and win again first time being a top 10 team since like the, well, they say the 40s or the 50s. Was less than the top 10 team. It's been so long.- I don't have none, that's for sure.- I think they say it was the 1950s. We might have been even longer, I forget. But it's just, yeah, it's just crazy. It's been that long. So, Texas came back and be missed to be state. I was pretty good come back on Texas support. Texas A&M took care of business against LSU and then Kelly was fired from LSU. So, people are predicting that he's gonna be the new coach at Florida next year. So, see if he stays in this to see your feelings. So, I heard people thinking he's gonna go to Penn State too. So,- I can see that.- I could see Penn State moment, Storm. That's just how the SEC works, man. It's gonna be a good game. See if Andy can keep it up, going into Texas. Penn State in Ohio State, shouldn't be that exciting in Ohio State, should he sit when that one? Georgia at Florida is always a good one. Georgia should take care of business. Oklahoma, Tennessee. It's another exciting one, the Great Team for number 14, but I'm guessing college game day will probably be in Texas, Austin for the Vanderbilt in Texas game.- That's what I was thinking, but it's actually gonna be stency Utah.- Really?- I do it at Utah for the Cincinnati at Utah game.- Yeah.- It's a 10-15 game, till the late, yes, the last game on Saturday night.- Yeah, I'm kind of surprised I didn't do the Vanderbilt Texas one, but.- I would have thought that'd have been like their third or fourth option. Kurt Cousins look terrible. Kurt Cousins, man, he can't, there's no argument now that Michael Pentax is the bed in quarterback. Kurt Cousins should just out there and just throw the ball into no one. So. Ravens pulled it off, Tyler Huntley, man.- I told you, man, he sucks everywhere besides the Ravens.- He's fucking the guy, bro.- He's got to put him on your team. He's a great fucking quarterback. He's a good backup, but only means on the Ravens. And then, I think the game of the week, it's just crazy was that Jets come back against the Bengals. That one pissed me off. I'm like, you shit me.- I was insane. Justin Fields, I don't know who made the shitty count was the GM or the owner that said something pretty shitty about him. Like this just isn't a quarterback that we need or he's, just something like that.- Here's just about when you got a rate, when you got a quarterback with that type of rating.- Yeah, so he said, fuck you watch this and fuck him one of them that game. He had one of the best games he's had in a long time. So.- No, so, yeah, on bag, wasn't like they played great the whole game was just to come back.- No, man, that fourth quarter was a huge, that was a massive, so. But it's finally getting their first win. So we'll see if they can pull, see more out of their ass, but who knows, Bills took care of business against Panthers wasn't even close. Andy Dullin stood no chance. That was a,- That defense was firing on all cylinders. That's for damn sure.- I still think we're weak in the defense though.- You guys are weak.- We lost, we lost Oliver for the year.- Yeah, shit.- That's not good.- So, and then wraps out for the year. Well, actually, I think Rap might be back, but he is an IR.- He's out for at least four to six weeks.- Yeah, so they elevated, players on the active roster, for sure now, then Phillips is on the active roster. We still gotta, we gotta buffer some defense still, I think.- I still think we're weak.- I think we are, we didn't look, you know, that was one of our better defense games by far.- I still think we're weak, but.- Oliver is a big hit. That's gonna hurt us. You know, we did gain the rookie. That was his first game. When she played about 50% of the snaps, which ain't too bad for coming off an injury and playing your first NFL game, but yeah, our second area still, suspect we got a big game next week, so we'll see. Now, the big one that surprised me was 14-9ers Texans.- Yeah, that was another one. That was really 49ers look pretty bad. Texans, I mean, CJ Stroudlet also, CJ Stroudlet looked like he wouldn't be a frickin' throwin' three-and-a-three-and-a-dards and he was hitting everything. He was completing every single pass. And all the running backs were getting above two. Job, marks, all of them were. So, 49ers defense just had no answer for them. And then their offense was just rough. There's some big drops, general Jennings had one that should have been touched down. You would have been touched on if he'd held on the ball, but it just dropped it, so wide open. But, yeah, that was just a surprise. I mean, Eagles, Giants, I mean, socks for Scataboo.- Oh, yeah, that's a problem.- So he did break his fibula, something with a ligament and then he dislocated the ankle, so.- He had surgery on it. They're saying his goals be back by OTA is what they're predicting for next year. So he's definitely gonna be off roll. That's a bad entry to have. So he's not super young. Pretty sure he's like in his mid 20s already, because he played all four years in college. So, Tennessee, cool stuff, carabasinus.- Yeah.- He goes, I mean, in Broncos, really took carabasinus. I was really surprised how much they beat, they beat about 20 points being down, it's like that. Never looks, they look good. So that offense, that whole team just looks, but I saw what's his name, pretty sure Sir Tann when they're starting corner got hurt. He's gonna be off for a while. Got put on IR, so he's gonna be off in four to six weeks, which is their best one of the best defensive guys, which kind of sucks, but.- Someone, oh, no, there was another back that got hurt. I don't think it's anything serious, serious, but it sounded like it'll be kind of a week to week thing.- Then after all those, we've been moving to Sunday night. I started off great. I don't know what the fuck happened. What is the other, the other's gonna start off fantastic. I mean, even going into what after our half time, they were running. So.- Yeah, I thought they were.- Yeah, half time, it was 16 to 7 and a half time, and then fuck, they just give up 28 points in the second half. So only scored nine points.- He scored what? One touchdown, then fucking entire game. Yeah, we scored one touchdown, then freaking Boswell, it was kicking field goals.'Cause they're off that, you can move the ball in the end, the red zone. So.- I already thought it was a pair.- Yep, so, no, no, we gotta, we gotta get their shit together there. So in our defense, it was not looking good at all. So our defense was just letting everyone get the ball. So. No, no, they gotta get their shit together for sure. That was not good. So. And then Monday night, Chief's just a care business, which, commanders slip low rough. So.- There's heaps of that look.- Wait, though. I know the score tells a different story, but that was a 7-7 game for quite some time.- Commanders are just, with all their injuries, they're just scrolling with all that. So let's take everyone back to that. You can go back to the normal selves I feel like. But. Make that pretty much wraps up week eight. Next we got the Chargers at the Titans. So definitely Chargers. Next we got Vikings at the Lions. It's called like Carson Wentz is gonna be out for a while, but it sounds like JJ might be back this week. They haven't fully confirmed that, but I'm still gonna take the charge.- I was even fucking wrong with JJ.- Was he dealing with the Turk? So, did he good for the Bears?- Then the Steelers pick up the scantling. Who?- White receiver?- Oh yeah, we did pick up MBS. So Rogers has played with him. And then we also traded for Kyle Dugger.
