All righty boys welcome back episode 64 of the trilateral podcast. How are we doing on this fine Wednesday evening? How's it going going? It is going I don't know about my picks, but yeah, yeah, so it's fun good Yeah, it was a little bit of a rough week for the NFL. We'll talk about that for sure Um Equal rough week for all three of us. We had pretty much the same fucking picks. It doesn't really like Wonder if we made our pick separately Not on the fucking podcast would they'd be different I mean, I already make my pick really matter. I already make my pick before we do the podcast I already have mine pretty well. It's just the those fence picks that we bring up Other points Yeah, I know I think it was that first week or maybe it was second week I was unaware of some injury stuff. I remember hunter bringing that up and that definitely pivoted my choice on one particular I know from that week, but Yeah, outside of that. I think we're gonna we're probably gonna fall Pretty damn close It's based on the opinion of all we've we kind of had the same opinions on most things I guess so Yeah But now I had a few quite a few wild cards last week and they didn't plan out so Yeah, but we get into that later That uh, we're gonna want No oranges Yeah, that uh f1 race was a the race itself wasn't necessarily horrible Um, it was qualifying where all the shit started Um, there were six red flags in qualifying um Just absolute shit show um So I'd think a lot of that led into where we saw So Some unusual folks in the top Three I would say um, you know your qualifying order Um was max got pull Uh, Carlos and Liam lost in where you top three Yeah, um your closest McLaren was seventh Um, er Yeah, the who got eighth and fourth I don't know who got eighth and ninth Ferrari Ferrari got tenth and twelfth Um Yeah, we had Uh, P.A.S.T.E. We're clear Uh, Olli bareman Those three didn't even make it out of qualifying they crashed out so um So definitely an odd order going into the sunday race um Baku is It's a it's a street course um Pretty narrow There are some there are two DRS zones, but you really have to be Johnny on the spot to really pass um You know Few turns into the first lap P.A.S.T.E. goes right into the wall um Granted him crashing out qualifying They had to rebuild the car So that was his first drive in that car as it was built um Looks like he just Locked up real good and just going into it too fast and Um Um I don't even know if you walk back I think he just stayed over there in that area and because they at one point it showed him watching it from one of the Marshall's phones Kind of tucked back in this corner, so I don't even think he walked back to the pit lane Um, so yeah, he just kind of checked out after that Wow, outside of that Pit strategy It didn't really shake much up um I'm a clarin struggle on the pit again They had another I think it was a front tire this time for Wando But definitely put him in a Little more awkward of a position um You know, we get to see Uh Science get his first podium You know Mercedes looked real strong in this course Um, I think Lewis could have probably gained another spot or two, but there was quite a drs trained behind Liam Lawson and fifth So Not the sight of someone crashed for now, which It didn't happen other than Pastery um is pretty clean race Um All the two were on the leading lap Um max it was a grand slam for max you let every damn lap fastest lap pole position Um He had a 14 yeah 14 second lead so Couple more races like that for McLaren that Could spell some issues for them because they could have wrapped it up actually this race if they would have finished one two or one three They would have wrapped it up Yeah, they would have wrapped up the championship this race Oh, which would have been which would have been a record for that that far into the season So And it's the opportunity to there for them I'd say so You know, it was a big win for Williams having someone on the podium so Outside of that it was pretty chill race Uh Nothing crazy Couple Actually, I think there was only one penalty maybe Throughout the race so um Ferrari looks strong at times, but They just didn't have that raw straight line pace um So um Um Not a whole lot more on that race any day figured out this year they shocked so Now they they're just at this point, I think trying to maintain that second in the constructors Which Mercedes is probably challenging them for that now I would believe Um, let's look at the team standings Yeah, actually there in third no for areas So They gotta get some things figured out oh Um And my clearance still leading with 623 Mercedes at 290 for our 286 And then red bolt 272 Um And then oscar still leading the driver championship um 25 points between him and No, Lando Max obviously has gained some good ground the last two races oh max So That could pose an issue like if they have a couple more races like this it could be pretty devastating Um no race is coming weekend Uh, but we will be In Singapore Um October 5th And after that we start the North American run So Yeah Outside of f1 Um Now if you're a fan of Hamilton, you know he has a Um long time bulldog I guess uh he just posted like moments ago that he's in the animal hospital with him right now So Um doesn't sound too good right now We'll see the bulldog's okay But He's an old boy but I don't know hopefully he can pull through it I guess thankfully He's not in our race weekend but still Well Either way kind of a bummer Nope But I think that covers f1 for the time being um Moving into College football was a week four that was week four this past weekend week five week five First really five so Well before yeah we four Yeah, they're in the good so We're in pretty good week I mean You see any major upsets I guess I mean Texas Tech destroyed Utah that was a pretty big upset I mean, it was an upset I think they were like right and ranked around the same place, but pretty good blowout Um Auburn Oklahoma was a good game only by touchdown this kind of brass was a good game Yeah, let's good game another day. I think I got their first win Enough Congratulations guys Hmm Indiana destroyed Illinois Indiana look yeah Indiana I think that yeah they got like they did last year And that was surprising I didn't expect it to be that that roof Yeah, it's right, that wasn't soon That coach don't give a fuck dude he's all about in business man. He just fuck you guys man USC took care of Michigan State Miami be Florida pretty good so Yeah, not too much of a crazy week I mean There's some big games, but I would say a lot blowouts too so Um Moving into this week we do have some pretty big ones we got a We call it Oregon and Penn State big game big game Yeah, we got also got Alabama at Georgia Another huge rivalry game So Both though on Saturday at 7 30 p.m. That's one of both of 7 30 President want to spread those out That Oregon and Penn State one should have been a new in game, but I don't know why they didn't spread it out Um, oh, we also got ls u@olmas. That's another good rivalry you. I see see battle So okay Should be some good ranked games this week to action watch Um Oklahoma State another big news they fired their head coach after 21 years. That's crazy You know like Gundy So while they really didn't see what it was about or why they just said that they wanted to go in a better direction So different direction So wow Yeah, that was he went there he that was his all-in-moder too. He coached several 21 years He has also been pretty very graduate from there too So There last time you can go right now. He was there for 21 years Oh, yeah But it's really all I got for college football. It's been kind of a slow start But we didn't get to watch it so we did yeah nothing too crazy. We need to see much of it Then um moving to nfl only uh shit week i'd say much so Yeah, we've had those damn games dude Didn't get to watch much NFL either besides obviously Monday night, but Seeing some of those scores So obviously starting with the Buffalo game Thursday that was closer than i thought it was gonna be until the end obviously Yeah, that one Well, I want to say necessarily nerve-wracking, but it was definitely closer than anticipated You know what going into the fourth quarter wasn't it pretty much tied Yeah And they definitely had a potential ability to Put us or get ahead again, but you are the type to go that interception Yeah, two of did two of them, you know It's all she wrote Miami's what o'm three now Yeah, and i don't see that coach i think if they lose a few more games i don't get any one like that coach gone Yeah, the ownership's saying that they're behind him, but uh i don't know how long we'll let that left That game be only just gave him a big ass great the big raise too last year So I don't just listen to him after the game and stuff i him and two i just i don't see How the rest of the team could take them seriously Yeah, I know rough start to year could You know pull the energy down a little bit, but If you're truly the top tier you're gonna you're gonna be able to Talk through that and get over it. It just i don't know it just seems like they're just throwing words out there and it Doesn't really make much sense listening to it. Yeah Thank you Moving some of the some uh some day games i kind of believed the carolina Atlanta I was insane how carolina shot about 30 visit So yeah, that one was nuts um I don't know what was the other ones is the Minnesota moving since that since nadeal yeah, Minnesota as a Sizzin had it's not good i think we got spots man showed up That one was just crazy. I mean they have what five turnover five fours turnovers and they still only one by a touchdown Well that off is how the defense had our defense got five turnovers and they only only one by a touchdown, so Oh no Well, it's gonna figure this shit out Yeah um Yeah, I'd say throughout you know The Broncos Chargers game was pretty decent That Ramsy Eagles game I thought Rams had that I couldn't be the Let him back in that quick I keep telling you something that was crazy this weekend The amount of blocked fuel goals. Yeah, I saw those there's other one the jets had and then Clue I think Cleveland had one too didn't they Might have put it to watch that game but also I think Cleveland had one I think the Eagles had two And all the block tables Um, and I know there was at least one or two others throughout other games But yeah, that was wild H.I. think wasn't the 49ers Think there might have been one in the Cardinals 49ers game Yeah, sorry, because 49ers pulled it off Yeah, I was a Yeah Number of unexpected and then you get some of these top two team supposedly and They shit the bird Think of the green bay one was probably the most surprising. Yeah, I was just Yeah, I would say that's I had completely Monday night game was good though last night March next year. Should I do it? Yeah, two weeks ago. That was a good game So I thought Baltimore's gonna win, but I mean lines showed out so Derek Henry from one of the ball again Yeah, I went to bed before it finished and I had pended in and that they won and got out there's like no, no, they didn't go figure Yeah, very interesting week three hopefully A week four picks do a lot better um Moving into week four do you guys have your picks for the week? Uh I have most of them So we can start going through those Um, so for week four we have Thursday night game tomorrow starting with Seattle traveling there is on a This that it will be a pretty good game um I'm gonna give it to Seattle though Yeah, after the points that they put up last week Cardinals look a little A little uh Tattered Um Wasn't Did they lose the running? Yeah, they lost Connors, didn't they? Connors out the seas for the season on preacher. Well, he's out of death. Well, is it Something to do with the week or his ankle? Yeah, so mr. Trade Benz and we'll be started You know, I see how that changes their outcome. The cilers gonna be throwing the ball a lot more Mm-hmm But I will you guys got for that game Seattle Seattle, how long has got Seattle? Yes Seattle for that one for sure, yeah, I'm living this Sunday. We got 9 30 a.m. Out there in Dublin, Ireland We got Minnesota and Pittsburgh Um, I'm gonna take Pittsburgh I think they travel pretty good and cl I think Carson wins is still starting for them from Minnesota So cl he shows up in a different country for them So I'm gonna also take pics for think the Minnesota game again since that he was a fluke, so Mm-hmm I think pics where it's gonna get it done overseas Mm-hmm Oh, but later speaking it was like mumbling Now I'm pondering And my boba Vikings on that one But they're next game one of five days and we got Washington Traveling to Atlanta Man, it's having one me is Daniel's gonna be back this week Is he still gonna be out that I'm not a hundred percent sure on I mean make sure I know I'm thinking you back missed concussion, but Honestly, it probably not a good pick this week, but I'm actually gonna go with Atlanta I think Atlanta's gonna come back pissed off after just getting shut out last week and they're gonna be back at home, so I would sure hope so but hey, but we can come back and I think they're gonna go out firing some of them take Atlanta this week Any Washington, yeah, I'm going commanders on that one Uh next game we got saints at Buffalo. I'm taking Buffalo Bolo Mecty and mect Cleveland traveling Detroit and taking Detroit and mect Cleveland one last one, but I don't see that keep it happening, so Not against not against flying ass Not giving me Detroit Speak there Next we got Tennessee at Houston this snooze fest of a game um Houston better wins. Yeah I might take Houston, but they lose this one. I really have no high hopes for that team Uh this is kind of a garbage game. I just I don't I would hope you some of them win, but Yeah, what is finally the deal? Can you be a neither team has impressed me by any means? person Yeah, give me the Texans Next game we got Carolina at New England. This will probably be a pretty close game Carolina obviously looks good last week, but I'm going to take New England Yeah, I think New England's still the better team out of these two I'm going to take Patriots Yeah, give me Patriots Mike Brabel Speak there next game. We got Chargers at much of giants Jackson Dart getting this first start What's the Wilson pushing benched? Um right place so they they honestly I think they could have won against the chiefs I really think they could have You know, I saw a lot of his highlights. I saw you just throwing everybody You just not accurate at all. Yeah, he's tossing and fucking ducks up man. It's It'll be interesting to see a rookie out there, but I think uh Herbert and company is going to take care of it You I'm gonna say the Chargers as well All right sweep there Um next game, which I would probably consider a game of the week. We got Philly at Tampa Bay Yeah, that one's We're a really good game It's gonna be good I'm gonna Philly by a close game though I wanted to take Tampa so bad in this just because I don't feel like Baker's not loose I'm just feeling this view orderly games where Tampa Bay might slip a little bit I think Tampa's had some close games last couple weeks That don't like they're gonna I don't think they'll pull this one off Do you feel like Hmm You know what yeah give me the books This is my next game we got indie at the Rams this is another good game I feel like Yeah, this one Well teams of time pretty good. I think this is where uh, Indy gets their first loss. They'll take the Rams I'm also taking the Rams Yeah, I think after last weeks they're gonna They're gonna straighten their sights out and I still like it make sure they get the win Like more than that colds the colds have been surprising I was uh The man in cast was a pretty good they had um Dania in there with them Oh Um Next game we got Jags going to San Fran I'm gonna take San Fran I think San Fran stays on the field and so I think San Fran's been playing pretty good I'd like to take the JX on this one but 49ers when getting it done Me 49ers Yeah 49ers All right sweep there next game. Oh, this might be game believe two. We got Baltimore at Kansas City Another good-ass game Um, I'm gonna take Baltimore. I think they're gonna be pissed off and I think they're still the better team I can almost guarantee you one thing in this film that they're kind of Gonna football ball. They're kind of maybe ready for Tudor Garrison's team. I think they're gonna run for the record the NFL record in this game Or they might not give me the ball or yeah, he might just Yeah Look them off and run. Yeah, he's gonna give it to the bar Jackson's gonna get like 200 yards right So with that being said you need Baltimore still I would love to take Kansas City in this one because either way I don't like here there was a game that I'd hope both teams would lose it be this game, but Yeah Yeah, give me give me the rate Next game we got Chicago at Vegas. I kind of another snooze fest to the game But I'm gonna take Vegas this time. Yeah, the Sunday night game will be good for green Bay and Dallas But both Mondays and the Thursday night game are not that exciting at all Yeah, they should have You know one o'clock to Monday is a big flex, but I don't know what that mean Yeah, he goes fucking here is what it is Uh, what was that? I think maybe they were planning it being Joe Barrow and But Bonics, but obviously that's a no-go, so Yeah That one's a little more understandable, but that jets dolphins one Yeah, unless they thought the jets were actually gonna be something Not a lot of people really did So So we have After this week has concluded Potential of only having two undefeated teams Yeah, who do you got we got Buffalo and uh, Chargers? Yeah Well, I guess 49ers potentially two they're under you know Yeah, I can see you too, right Fill in the box or both undefeated, but someone's got a lose that so We have to get it to yeah, so we can start 14s that are being defeated Not more likely for five teams Box Chargers, spills and possibly 49ers, I think 49ers should pull that out, but That Eagles bucks game That's gonna be that game in the Kansas City Wolfgang Yeah, the chiefs and Ravens That'd be a hilarious game to end in a fucking tie just testically Um I'm Ravens I would think that Is they're gonna see him again potentially so they want to make sure they get that win You know So with those picks locked in for week four where you guys standing on your total picks for weeks one through three Um, I'm pretty sure me and Logan are actually both tied right now. We are both 32 and 16 Oh, shit. Okay. What are you uh 33 and 33 and 15 I got one game Yep Oh, very close very neck and neck so that last week though. I was rough. That's probably the worst weeks. He both had You said you're 34 and 15 33 and 15 Sorry, great.
